It is an easy, flexible pattern. The purses and cases can be made in different sizes, they can include a button or snap fastening and can be made with or without straps. You can use any worsted weight yarn, acrylic, cotton or wool. I use a nice quality acrylic, Michael’s Impeccable, which is sturdy but not too stiff and it’s washable. The works up pretty quickly so it’s nice for last minute gifts.
These little kitty items are great for gifts for kids and cat lovers.
The pattern is not difficult and is appropriate for anyone with intermediate crochet skills or an adventurous beginner. They are worked in the round don’t require seeming. The face and tail are cut from felt (a diagram to follow is included) and sewn on.
