I looked up the cat stitch pattern online, and the two patterns that I found both had some omissions in them that made it hard to do the pattern.

So I fixed it.

And I wrote out this pattern for a potholder. (I made two of them for myself.)

There’s a picture guide included, and I did my best to make the directions as clear as possible.

Anyway, if all you are wanting is a good guide to the cat stitch, just follow the directions and ignore the edging.
