A wee little girl asked me to knit a black sweater for her, a black sweater as for cat woman. I did it, in black and also in white, as the movie Black Cat, White Cat. Well, this sweater named Cat Woman is all about cat!
It is a straightforward cardigan, worked top down, with a band of cat paw patterns all around the yoke. After dividing back, fronts and sleeves, body is worked straight in stocking stitches. Two other cat paw patterns are added at the bottom of fronts. As always I added a false seam at each side, for better stability.
Sleeves are then worked in round, top down. Finally stitches are picked up and knit to work the buttons bands.
