I had an extra asterisk in Round 3 of the pattern. The updated PDF has removed it.

26 Miles Across the Sea….

Growing up in Southern California, Catalina Island was a lovely get-away over the years, with my family visiting Avalon and as a Girl Scout camping, swimming and sailing at Emerald Bay.

This quick and simple cowl reminds me of the bay in Avalon, gentle ripples heading out to the deep blue sea.

This is knit with one skein of worsted weight yarn, approximately 220 yards. Its finished dimensions are 20” in circumference by 14” long, to be worn scrunched up around your neck, keeping you warm and toasty. You can make it wider by adding more stitches. The pattern is a multiple of 12.
