Catasticta is a lovely yet unusual women’s wrap that unites two small-scale lace border patterns to frame its stockinette center knit in Valley Yarns Westfield. This is a fantastic way to boost your lace knitting skills while producing a springtime work of art. This accessory is knit back and forth in one piece. A repeating fern leaf lace pattern borders one end, while an offset flowerbud lace pattern borders the other. Valley Yarns Westfield is a luxurious blend of Merino, silk, and yak in a versatile DK weight. Each of the fibers in Westfield takes the dye slightly differently, resulting in beautifully nuanced shades that will add depth to your project. The fern leaf and flowerbud lace patterns are charted and written out.
