“THROW A BLANKET OVER IT!” Neither a blanket nor a little fence can contain this rampant kewtness. Make your very own little huggable action figure inspired by the cartoon character Catbug from Bravest Warriors.

This is a seven-page digital document of crochet instructions to make a Catbug doll, four inches (12 cm) tall. Pattern includes instructions for making accessories shown in photos above: oven mitts, a soft taco, and Sir Jeffers stick and Rebecca potato, chock-full of romantic tension. You can also change Catbug’s eyes to white ovals, if you prefer. Doll stands on its own.

Materials you will need for Catbug:
-- D/3.25mm and E/3.5mm crochet hooks
-- Worsted-weight yarn in light blue and red
-- Black felt scrap
-- Black embroidery thread
-- Polyester fiberfill stuffing
-- Scissors and large-headed pins

Materials needed for Oven Mitts, Soft Taco, Rebecca, and Sir Jeffers:
-- Pink and green felt scraps
-- Worsted-weight yarn in red, tan, brown, and light green
-- (2) 5mm or 7mm wiggly eyes
-- Craft glue
-- Stiff white paper such as cardstock
-- Red embroidery thread
-- D/3.25mm crochet hook
-- (1) Chenille stem (pipe cleaner), any color
-- Scissors and (3) small headed-pins
