Catching Waves Sweater
The Catching Waves Sweater is a cropped, oversized sweater with slight waist shaping, balloon sleeves, and a folded collar. The front and back are worked flat in panels and seamed together, then stitches are picked up to work the sleeves and collar in the round.
Working with worsted weight yarn on 8 mm needles creates a fabric that is lightweight and comfortable—perfect for spring or cool summer nights. It looks great with high waisted pants, layered over a maxi dress, etc.!
This pattern uses intarsia and is suitable for beginner/intermediate knitters whether or not you have experience with intarsia. Potential modifications for the sweater are listed at the end of the pattern. This is also available for purchase on Ribblr and Etsy.
