Terminology: This pattern is written in US crochet terminology.

Crochet level: The patterns are beginner-friendly and easy to follow. You should know basic crochet terms to follow the pattern. I also have video tutorials for thes caterpillar. Feel free to reach out if you have any trouble crocheting the toys.

What I used to crochet my caterpillar:

Yarn: Weight #6 yarn: Premier Parfait Chunky
Quantity: Main color (5g), Secondary color (3g). Or, if you want to create a rainbow effect, you will need about 1.5g of each color.
Hook: 4.5mm US 7
Safety eyes: 9 mm

Cocoon:

Smaller Size: Premier Parfait Chunky Cream (25g) 5.0 mm/ US H-8 hook
Bigger Size: Bernat Blanket Vintage White (45g) 5.5 mm/ US 9 hook

Other materials and tools:

Yarn needle
Scissors
Polyester Fiber Fill
Stitch Markers

Finished size: The cocoon is about 13 cm ~ 5 inc. The caterpillar is about 10 cm ~ 4 inc.
