Cathedral Grove is a versatile lace pattern that uses an ancient Shetland stitch to create a lacy gothic scarf or wrap.

You get lots of options with this pattern!

It can be made with laceweight yarn held double or fingering yarn.

Total yarn used is
Scarf:
1105m (1100yds) laceweight or 500m (600yds) fingering

Wrap:
2100m (2300yds) laceweight or 1100m (1200yds) fingering.

You will need 3 skeins of the recommended yarn for the scarf and 6 for the wrap.

Pattern includes written and charted instructions for:

A scarf that is 50 x 150cm (19.5 x 59in) finished and blocked

A wrap that is 86 x 200cm (34 x 79in) finished and blocked

There is optional beading instructions (written and charted) for both sizes.

Pattern has been written for all skill levels including beginners at lace.

Pattern is both written and charted and has been test knitted and tech edited.

Note: If you are using stitch markers they will move over a stitch for the repeats on rows 10:12:14 and 16. Also please take care to see that the final repeat on those rows is slightly different.
