Techniques
Casting on stitches, stockinette (knit and purl), colourwork (stranded), ribbing, increases and decreases, backstitch (to sew the hat).

Yarn
Idéal, from Bergère de France (http://bergeredefrance.fr)
Main colour is Brouilly and contrasting colour is Vitamine.
It’s 4 mm, and each skein is 50g (125 meters).
1 skein for main colour, 1/3 of a skein for contrasting colour
This hat definitely uses most of MC’s skein ! Make sure you have a back-up skein just in case, or adapt by making the CC stripe larger.

What you will need
A pair of 3,5mm straight needles
A pair of scissors
A large tapestry needle
A pom-pom maker (optional, as you can also use your fingers!)
