I made this hat for my dad for Christmas, but I liked it so much that I made one for myself as well. My dad grew up in Catonsville, Maryland. This hat reminded me of something he would have worn as a kid.

Catonsville is worked in the round on circular needles. The crown is knit in the round with double pointed needles. The stripes are not toggled, so they will not meet perfectly, but I found I liked this effect.

If you need a smaller hat, choose a yarn that can be knit on a smaller needle.
