Cattail, a genus of about 30 species of tall reedy marsh plants, found mainly in temperate and cold regions of the Northern and Southern hemispheres. The plants inhabit fresh to slightly brackish waters and are considered aquatic or semi-aquatic.

Cattails are important to wildlife, and many species are also cultivated ornamentally as pond plants and for dried-flower arrangements. The long flat leaves of the common cattail are used especially for making mats and chair seats. The starchy rhizomes are eaten in some places.

The waves in the body of the tee remind me of the cattail, and with the positive ease movement of the garment you will feel the plant close.

Knitted bottom up in round until underarms, then you knit flat changing stitch., double ribbing just in case we need an extra touch, hey!

It’s our garment, we can play with it!

These instructions are intended to accomplish a tee with bust circumference of 76 (84, 92, 100, 110, 124) cms with a positive ease of 4-6cms.

Gauge 21 sts and 28 rows in 10cms, blocked.
