Cauldron Bowl with Lid
This is a pattern that gives you a decently sturdy cauldron to store small things in--for example your holiday treats or sewing utensils. It comes with two choices for a lid, a flat and a rounded one, and it’s designed to be completely no-sew. There is an option for sewing on the handles as well, if that would be something you would prefer.
This pattern was designed using bulky-weight yarn (7 WPI) and a 5 mm (US H-8) hook. You can choose to use a different weight yarn and hook size, but it will alter the final size of the cauldron.
When using the recommended yarn and hook size, the cauldron measures 16 cm wide and 11 cm tall.
It’s an advanced-beginner level pattern that uses the standard crochet stitches, bobble stitches, front post single crochet, front loop only and backloop only.
It also has reference photos for you to use, and have been tested by multiple crocheters on Ribblr.
I hope you enjoy making it!
