I designed this cowl because I have knitted several in this shape from other designers using 4 ply and sport weights and I wanted the same shape using DK because I’m impatient and I can knit one faster! I love the ripple effect between the chains; it reminds me of the causeway across to Lindisfarne and the rippled sand pattern at low tide.
This cowl is worked from the bottom up, beginning with a set up section and then a repeating pattern with increases to create the bandanna shape. Once the increasing section is complete, the knitting will be joined and knitted in the round
Finish around the neckline is an I-cord cast off.
