I love, love, love, love, love coffee and I love, love, love, love, love, love knitting vanilla socks. I’ve been asked several times for my vanilla sock pattern, so I decided to type it up for everyone. Happy Knitting!

I knit the toe using magic loop & then change to the zoom zoom needles after the increases are done & use them for the rest of the sock (although the purchaser could easily adapt it for magic loop, two circulars, or double points).

What are Zoom Zoom Needles? Zoom Zoom Needles are my affectionate name for 9” (23cm) circular needles. I renamed them this because you can just zoom zoom round in circles. My preferred brand is Hiya Hiya Sharps.

Judy’s Magic Cast On and Jeny’s Surprisingly Stretchy Bind Off are used in this pattern.

The knitter needs to be comfortable with the following techniques: knit, purl, ktbl, M1R, and M1L. Instructions for all these techniques are included in the pattern.

This pattern includes instructions written in a recipe format for 56, 64, & 72 stitch socks. It can easily be converted to other sizes as well.
