Cecilia Dress is worked from the top down. First, the front and back are worked flat separately, then joined at the underarms. The body and the skirt are worked in the round. Then, stitches for the ruffles on the skirt are picked up along purl stitch ridges and worked with the lace pattern, provided both in text and chart. And finally, i-cord is applied to the top edges and i-cord strings are knit for shoulder straps. The strap’s length is adjustable. You can also adjust the length of the body to your preferred length. (Please note that the required amount of yarn will change in that case.)

Cecilia Dress (セシリア・ドレス) はトップダウンで編みます。まず前身頃と後ろ身頃をそれぞれ往復編みで編んだ後、脇下でつなげて身頃とスカートを輪で編みます。スカートのフリルは裏目を拾って編みつけ、透かし模様を編みます。透かし模様のパターンは文章と編み図の両方が用意されています。最後に、トップに i-cord のエッジを編みつけ、ショルダーストラップとして i-cord の紐を編みます。ショルダーストラップの長さは調整可能です。また、身頃の丈もお好みの長さに調整することができます。(その場合は使用糸量が変わることにご注意ください。)
