The Cecilia collection features 5 patterns : a cowl, a scarf, a hat, mittens and socks. It offers mix and match colourwork motifs for custom projects with floral, geometric and figurative designs.
The designs were made in collaboration with yarn dyer Bulbe Bizarre, with yarn gifted for the samples.

Yarn :
You will need at least three colours of fingering weight yarn with the following amounts :
Brim : 85 (95 / 105 / 120) m – 93 (104 / 115 / 131) yds
Colourwork Total MC : 95 (105 / 125 / 150) m – 104 (115 / 137 / 164) yds
Colourwork Total CC : 85 (90 / 105 / 135) m – 93 (98 / 115 / 148) yds

Use your MC or CC for the brim to work with only two colours. Simply add the amount required for the brim to the total of MC or CC you wish to use.

You can split these requirements to choose multiple colours both for MC and CC, using leftovers or mini skeins for example.

The sample was knit with Bulbe Bizarre Sock Extrafine (400 m – 437 yds / 100 g).

Needles :
Main Fabric : 2.75 mm (US 2) needles circular needles with appropriate cable length to knit in the round (40 cm – 16” maximum) or magic loop.
Ribbing : 2.25 mm (US 1) needles circular needles with appropriate cable length to knit in the round (40 cm – 16” maximum) or magic loop.

Gauge :
32 sts x 40 rounds = 10 cm / 4” using larger needles in stranded knitting after blocking
Note that a different gauge will affect size and yarn usage.

Sizes :
1 (2 / 3 / 4)
Finished circumference : 45 (50 / 55 / 60) cm – 17 ¾ (19 ¾ / 21 ¾ / 23 ¾)“
Finished height : 23 cm – 9” (adjustable)

For a classic beanie fit, pick a desired hat circumference that will give you up to 7 cm – 2 ¾“ negative ease. For a looser fit, pick a circumference closer to your actual measurement.

La collection Cecilia contient 5 patrons : un tour de cou, une écharpe, un bonnet, des mitaines et des chaussettes. Elle propose des motifs de jacquard au choix pour des projets personnalisés avec des dessins floraux, géométriques et figuratifs.
Les modèles ont été créé en collaboration avec la teinturière Bulbe Bizarre, la laine ayant été offerte pour les prototypes.

Laine :
Vous aurez besoin d’au moins trois couleurs de laine fingering avec le métrage suivant :
Côtes : 85 (95 / 105 / 120) m
Jacquard Total CP : 95 (105 / 125 / 150) m
Jacquard Total CC : 85 (90 / 105 / 135) m

Prenez votre CP ou CC pour les côtes pour n’utiliser que deux couleurs. Ajoutez simplement le métrage requis pour les côtes au total de CP ou CC.

Vous pouvez diviser ces métrages et choisir plusieurs couleurs à la fois pour CP et CC, en utilisant des restes ou minis par exemple.

Le modèle est tricoté en Bulbe Bizarre Sock Extrafine (400 m / 100 g).

Principales : aiguilles circulaires 2.75 mm avec la bonne longueur pour tricoter en rond (40 cm maximum) ou faire du magic loop
Côtes : aiguilles circulaires 2.25 mm avec la bonne longueur pour tricoter en rond (40 cm maximum) ou faire du magic loop
ou numéro nécessaire pour obtenir le bon échantillon

Échantillon :
32 m. x 40 rgs sur 10 cm avec les aiguilles principales en jacquard en rond après blocage
Notez qu’un échantillon différent affectera la taille du projet et le métrage nécessaire.

Tailles :
1 (2 / 3 / 4)
Circonférence du bonnet : 45 (50 / 55 / 60) cm
Hauteur du bonnet : 23 cm (modifiable)

Pour une coupe de bonnet ajusté, choisissez une circonférence qui vous donnera jusqu’à 7 cm d’aisance négative. Plus une coupe plus confortable, choisissez une circonférence plus proche de votre tour de tête réel.
