Cecily is a solid hat. Featuring a wide cable panel, the body of the hat is worked with slipped stitches for extra warmth and reinforcement. Gauge differences between the slipped stitch body and front cable creates a perfect head-fitting slouch. A wide mock rib brim creates a thick extra layer over the ears, and the no-decrease finishing adds extra warmth at the top of the head as well. This is a hat for serious cold, but won’t compromise knitterly style.
