Cedardale is a sumptuous wrap, knit in a combination of cable and lace patterns, and finished with lacy borders.

The size is easily modified by changing the number of stitch and/or row repeats, or by using a different weight of yarn. The yarn used in the sample is quite thin for DK.

Size 5mm / US8 needles are used for the lace borders, and one 4mm / US6 is used for picking up stitches.

Stitch patterns: The repeating lace panel is Number 24 from my book “Stitch Definition.” The cable panel is Number 26 from my upcoming pdf stitch collection “The Cable Factor Volume 1.” The narrow lace cable panel was designed for this layout, and the end borders are Number 44 from Stitch Definition.

Pattern has been test knit.
