ABOUT
The Celeste Shawl is an intarsia knit, designed to show off a beautiful lace weight and fingering weight yarn pairing. I had been dreaming up a “moon shawl” for a while, and was in search of the perfect colour. When Ali of Explorer Knits revealed “Nightfall” - I knew it was meant to be. This is my favourite shawl shape, as it is so versatile and wearable. It can be worn as a wrap or a scarf, and with a soft suri or mohair yarn, it’s delightfully cozy. The moon is worked in the lace weight yarn and centred on the shawl. The i-cord edge is worked during the knit, so there is minimal finishing required. It’s ready to wear off the needles!
