Celosia are conical, fall-blooming flowers in the Amaranth family, so what better name for a fall sock! These lacy socks are worked top-down and could easily be worked two-at-a-time. There are two options for the instep, one continues the stitch pattern to the toe and the other transitions to stockinette.

While I was developing this design, I had earlier prototypes that were less stretchy (I have since modified the stitch pattern) but I wrote this one up for three sizes just in case. My testers tell me theirs are plenty stretchy but I do advise trying them on after a few inches of the leg just in case. The pattern features both charted and written instructions.
