Celtic Blanket
Celtic Blanket captures the intricate beauty of Celtic design through a composition of octagons, squares, and triangles. Each motif is rich with textured patterns, reminiscent of carved stone and interlaced metalwork.
The pattern includes a photo tutorial, written instructions and a video tutorial for almost every round.
Sizes: 115 (115, 140, 140) / 45 (45, 55, 55)“ wide and 115 (140, 140, 165) / 45 (55, 55, 65)” long.

Yarn: Scheepjes Stone Washed, fine weight #2 yarn (78% Cotton, 22% Acrylic; 130 m (142 yds)/50 g (1.75 oz)), colours:
(A) 815 Green Agate, 13 (16, 19, 23) balls;
(B) 801 Moon Stone, 16 (19, 23, 26) balls.
Crochet Hooks: 4 mm (US size G/6).
Notions: stitch markers, yarn needle.
Gauge: after 7 rounds the piece measures 10 cm / 4”, measured between the two most distant points of an octagon. After 24 rounds the octagon measures 28 cm / 11”, measured between the two most distant points of an octagon.
Techniques used: basic crochet stitches, front and back post stitches, clusters, flat slip stitch join.
