Yarn Used:
MC = one 50g ball Wendy Merino pure ultra soft wool DK in Russet

Needles:
4mm Double Pointed needles

Finished Size:
Fit palm circumference 7.5” to 9.5” (the cable makes the fabric really stretchy)

Gauge:
20st by 24 rounds = 10cm in the cable pattern

Skills Used:
Knitting, purling, circular knitting, increasing and decreasing, simple slipped cable stitch

Extra Information:
If you want to alter the width of the hand warmers there is a 5st repeat so add or minus multiples of 5. You can change the length of the wrist by repeating the pattern a different number of times.

There are instructions in the thumb gusset section for altering the size of the thumb, measure against the hand you are making it for.

If you want to alter this pattern for children size I would suggest using 4ply yarn and smaller needles.
