The front of the cushion cover depicts a Celtic Knot. One of the most recognisable forms of Celtic Art, with no beginning or end, a reminder of the infinite cycles of life.

Worked in stocking stitch the cover requires 3 50gm balls. It is knitted in one piece starting with a small band of rib, stocking stitch for the main section, and finishing with another band of rib.

The knot is created with an I-cord, and the knot design is shown in diagram form in the pattern leaflet as an aid to completion.

To make up the side seams are joined together.
