Central Purlk Lite
Central Purlk Lite is a fingering weight tank featuring garter stitch detailing and two body and strap options. Using simple details to elevate basics, Central Purlk Lite will be a fantastic addition to any wardrobe. Videos and step-by-step tutorials are included to help you through the steps of grafting your garter stitch straps to perfection!
Materials
- Fingering weight yarn or any yarn with which you can match gauge Sample used Blame the Knots For Sure Fingering in Power Surge (437 yds / 100g)
- US 6 /4.0 mm circular needles (or needle size required to meet gauge)
- 6 stitch markers, one unique to mark BOR
- Stitch holders, spare cables, or scrap yarn for placing stitches on hold
- Darning needle
Gauge
24 stitches and 32 rows = 4” / 10 cm in stockinette knit in the round, blocked on US 6 / 4.0 mm needles
Note: Some testers found that their garter stitch gauge was significantly different than their stockinette gauge, so you may want to test this gauge as well and adjust accordingly.

Meant to be worn with approximately 4”/ 10 cm of negative ease at the fullest part of the bust.
Size up for a more neutral fit or down for a tank with more negative ease.

Construction
Pattern is constructed bottom-up, beginning with the garter hem. The body is worked in the round, then the front cups and straps are worked flat. Finally, the preferred back option is worked, followed by grafting the straps together.
