This hat and it’s “twin” hat, Viola, are knit in the round starting with the ribbing and moves fluidly up through the cables. It is extra long to allow the wearer to style it as a slouchy hat, or fold the brim up for extra thickness over the ears and have it fitted like a beanie.

Sizes
18” (21”, 24”) (45.5cm (53.5cm, 61cm)) head circumference.
Final Dimensions
10.5” (10.75”, 11”) (26.5cm (27.5cm, 28cm)) tall, 16.5” (19.5”, 22.5”) (42cm (49.5cm, 57cm)) circumference.

Note about sizing: Please keep in mind the Final Dimensions. Negative ease is already included in the sizing. This makes it more ideal for wearing with the brim folded up in the beanie style, but wearer can still style it slouchy by pulling down on the back of the hat. If the wearer prefers a more slouchy style hat, it is suggested that the next size up should be made. :o)

The gauge swatch is knit flat in stockinette st, and left unblocked to make the gauge easier to read.
