MARY HENDERSON’S top is worked using two strands of yarn held together - the combination of the two strands varies to give blended stripes. Mary has used Isager’s Spinni Tweed and Alpaca 1 yarns, and its Japansk Bomuld cotton tape. The garter stitch rib is paired with a yoke worked in a star mesh pattern. The waist is shaped front and back with decreases, while increases create darts to accommodate bust measurements.
