The sweater is worked from the top down. You start with the color and work the body directly from that. You use the waistcoat stitch and the lemon peel stitch to create the body and sleeves.

For the bodice and sleeves you use crochet hooks 4.5 and 4mm. For the cuffs you use 3mm.
