The Chain Bonnet is a textured, fingering weight bonnet pattern featuring a unique faux cable that looks intricate but is simple to knit. Worked flat and seamed at the crown using mattress stitch, it’s beginner-friendly and full of sweet detail. The chain-like stitch is created using a yarn over and an MCDD (modified center double decrease), and a tutorial is available to walk you through it.

Pairs beautifully with the Chain Ankle Socks for a matching set!

– Long tail cast on
– Yarn over
MCDD (tutorial included)
Mattress stitch (tutorial linked)
