This pattern was inspired by the Sochi Olympics. The architecture of the rooftops reminded me of the skylines of skiing towns.

Size: One, but modifiable
Finished measurements:
Wingspan: 36inches
Depth: 12 inches

Materials:
about 250 yds of MC
About 65 yards of the CC if using DK and the number of repeats specified.

Recommended needle size:
Size necessary for gauge. US#6

Gauge Is not important
My gauge approximately: 17 sts/24 rows = 4inches in garter (after blocking) with US 6 (4.0mm)

Pattern Notes:
•You will be working the border first (this is a bottom-up shawl) and then using short-rows to shape the body.
•Sizing – border pattern is a multiple of 26+3 stitches. Casting on the number given will give the size specified. Increase number CO to make a larger shawl
•Colorwork – is mosaic knitting; only one color is knit per row, the other is only slipped.
