Chalice Triangle Scarf #3

Chalice Triangle Scarf is the result of many hours of studying and hands on research to prove to myself that it is possible to knit a triangle completely in-the-round. The stitch pattern, commonly known as the Chalice stitch pattern is quite simple and easily memorized. Increases are concentrated at the three corners. Blocking is a bit of a challenge but as you can see, quite do-able.

Using the recommended needles and yarn, gauge is 20 sts per 4” in pattern. Although a sample has not yet been tested beyond the 40” wingspan project shown, by increasing repeats of specific rounds, the project can be knitted up to a 72” wingspan.
