Chappell Hill is knit in an interesting overall pattern stitch. After blocking, the stitches open to show their beauty!

The cowl is knit flat and seamed at the neck. This unusual, knitted shape creates a cowl that wears like a triangle shawl with lots of coverage in the front and little bulk at the back neck.
