Simple sweater with elbow length raglan sleeves and a pair of fingerless mittens. The sweater is worked from top down, starting with the folded neck ribbing. The work continues with the short row shaping on neckline and raglan increases. When the yoke is completed, sleeve stitches are placed on hold. The body is then worked in the round towards the hem. Sleeve stitches are then placed back on the needles and the sleeves are worked in the round towards the cuffs.
The fingerless mittens are worked in the round, except for the thumb opening that is worked back and forth. Tubular cast-on and bind-off add a nice finishing touch.
The pattern includes photo tutorials for German short row technique, Tubular cast-on and Tubular bind-off.
Yarn support for this design is received from Filcolana.
