Slouchy beanie meant to fit slightly loose with lace and basic cables.

Use DK or light worsted weight

I recommend knitting with a tight gauge to create a dense fabric that will prevent yarn-over stitches (from lace cables) from stretching too much.

Always have more yarn than what is listed so you don’t run out

Gauge after blocking in the round
smaller needles: 32-33sts across 4” in k1, p1 rib pattern
larger needles: 22-23 sts & 33-34 rounds per 4” in stockinette
Please adjust needle size to meet gauge

Will fit up to 23” head circumference
Length of about 9” from cast on to top of beanie

Equipment
Cable needles to work in the round
Tapestry needle
stitch markers are optional for your own convenience

Techniques used
-yarn-overs, twisted stitches, basic increases & decreases for knit and purl stitches

Charts, pictures & written instructions included

Also included are instructions on how to modify length
