This is a very easy, very quick pattern, that produces a very nice baby hat! This pattern comes in 8 sizes (see below) and does not take very much yarn to complete. I think this is a great pattern for those of you who make hats for charities, hospitals, and the like.

9 inch doll
10 ½” inch preemie
12 inch preemie
13 inch newborn
14 inch newborn
15 inch 0-3 months
16 inch – 3-6 months
17 inch – 6 – 9 months

• Time approximation: 30 min – 1 hour
  Depending on size of cap.<small>

• Hook Size: 3.75 mm

• Yarn Brand: Lion Brand Babysoft; or Premier Primo Yarn (or other #3 light weight yarn)

• Number of Skeins: 1

• Materials: Yarn, hook, tapestry needle (to weave in ends)

• You should already know basic crochet stitches (single crochet, double crochet, back loop single crochet, slip stitch…etc)

I believe I made all of these sizes with only one ball of yarn!
