Charli Top
The Charli top is the perfect anytime top. With a subtle amount of texture and an overflow of style, this shirt can be worn so many ways. Whether you want to wear it with high waisted shorts in the summer, or with a pair of leggings or jeans under a denim or leather jacket in the fall, this versatile piece can follow your journey of the year. With rows of bobbles for a bit of a pop, you will adore this shirt and find yourself wanting one in every color.
Because a stitch can hide in this bulkier yarn, I do classify this pattern as a more intermediate piece. The stitches themselves are simple, however,
The 3 stitch and 3 row per inch gauge is based off of the single crochet rows. Be sure to swatch beforehand.
The yardage varies based on whether or not you would like the back of your shirt to be flat or have bobbles - identical to the front. I also added how many balls of Bernat Velvet yarn you would need to complete your shirt, according to size.
XS/SMALL: 489-538 yards (2 balls)
MEDIUM/LARGE: 587-600 yards (2 balls)
XLARGE/XXLARGE: 686-744 yards (3 balls)
1X/2X: 812-878 yards (3 balls)
3X/4X: 927-1002 (4 balls)
This shirt is meant to be cropped a bit, so it is not a full length shirt. If you wish to have something shorter or larger, you can opt to go up or down a size.
