Welcome to Smiley Goose designs!

The Charlotte shawl is a fun wrap to make with beautiful texture.

Due to the stitch pattern used, the top edge of the scarf is not straight and curves down. However, it does still wear and drape the same.

SKILL LEVEL:
o Basic/Beginner
o Easy – You will need to know how to SC, DC, Herringbone HDC, and work in chain spaces.
o Intermediate
o Complex/Advanced

MATERIALS NEEDED:
o Ideally, any sock, sport, DK, or worsted weight (#1-4) yarn should work for this project.
I used MontanaCrochet.com’s hand dyed sock weight (#1) yarn in Siren (1 hank), Apgar (1 hank), and Forest Flames (1 hank). Approximately 1200 yards.
o US size G-6 (4 mm) hook, or recommended hook for yarn used.
o Tapestry needle

SIZE:
One size but can be altered
Width: 30 inches
Length: spans 57 inches

All patterns are in English, using US standard crochet terms. I have added working pictures to help show you how I completed a stitch when applicable.

Since these patterns are created by me and tested by humans, there is always chance for error. I am happy to address any questions or concerns.
