This pattern has been written using US Crochet terms and is designed with a confident beginner in mind.

It also includes instructions of how to make 2 blankets and charts showing how the diamond formation on each side panel is formed (in order to help you to adapt the size of the blanket). The charts are a visual guide of where to place your stitches while you’re working through the written pattern.

If you can read a crochet pattern and complete basic crochet stitches you should have no problems with the pattern.

The blanket can be made using any yarn, however using a different weight yarn will mean you will end up with a smaller or bigger blanket.

It’s the perfect stash busting project but also looks good made using one main colour and a contrasting colour for the border.

The blankets pictured were made using Aran weight yarn, the larger blanket was made using Paintbox Simply Aran (acrylic) in Mustard and Raspberry Pink, the smaller grey blanket was made using various yarns from my stash.

Blanket Sizes:

Large Blanket (59 inches x 59 inches)
Small Blanket (46 inches x 46 inches)

What you’ll need:

• Aran weight yarn (the amount will be dependent on the size of blanket that you’re making - I used approx 1131 grams of Paintbox Aran in Mustard to make the large blanket and 103 grams of the same brand yarn in Raspberry Pink for the border. For the main body of the small blanket (pictured in the grey shades) I used approx 713 grams of Aran Weight yarn from my stash and approx 80 grams of yarn for the border.

• Size I Hook / 5.5 mm

• Embroidery Scissors

• Darning Needle for weaving in your ends

You are welcome to sell any blankets that you make from this pattern, however please don’t pass this pattern off as your own.
