The Check Check Bag transforms a simple jute shopping bag into a striking accessory. Made using Scheepjes Maxi Sugar Rush and Maxi Sweet Treat (the only difference being the ball meterage), the fine mercerised cotton gives the fabric a crisp, clean finish that really lets the intarsia colourwork shine. The crocheted panels are worked separately and then fitted around an existing jute bag, making the design easy to adapt to different shapes or sizes. Play with contrast, keep things soft with tonal shades, or mix unexpected colours to create a bag that feels completely your own. It also works beautifully as a project bag.
