The Check It Bag is a seamless Tunisian Crochet checked bag pattern. The bag is crocheted in strips and connected using the Tunisian Join as You Go Method--that means no yarn floats or carrying yarn across a panel!

MATERIALS
-Yarn: Stylecraft Special DK (Weight 3) | 100g/295m | 100% Acrylic in two colors
MC (Gingerbread) 165 meters
CC (Cream) 85 meters
NOTE ON CHANGING YARN WEIGHT:
This is a great stash buster, so if you’d like to use Worsted/Aran Weight 4 yarn, I recommend using a 5.5 mm or 6 mm hook.
-Hooks:
Main: 4.5 mm Tunisian crochet hook (or any hook required to meet the gauge)
Edging: 5 mm crochet hook (or any hook .5 bigger than main hook)
-Notions: lining (optional), yarn needle, scissors, stitch markers, tape measure, blocking kit (optional)

SIZING
he Check It Bag has one size, but if you add more rows and sections you can make the bag bigger. You can also use worsted weight yarn to achieve a larger bag or add more panels and squares. However, yarn amounts will differ.
30 cm X 30 cm with an adjustable handle

GAUGE
15 sts x 15 rows, 10 x 10 cm with 4.5 mm hook blocked alternating Tunisian Reverse Stitch and Tunisian Knit Stitch
