I’ve always felt strongly that everyone should exercise their right to vote, but never more than this year. These mittens were inspired by the simple iconic checkmark and will keep your hands warm while waiting in line to cast your vote!

This unisex pattern has 3 sizes, although the medium size will fit most hands – you can customize it to your own length by trying it on as you go or add a few stitches around if needed to increase width. They are knit in the round from the bottom up. These are nice mittens in a woolly yarn although superwash yarn will work as well.

I like a long loose cuff, but if you prefer a tighter cuff you can use smaller needles for the ribbing and switch to the larger needles when you begin the stockinette rounds. You can adjust the length of the cuff to your personal preference.

The medium size mittens take about 54g of yarn and the fingerless mitts take about 48g, so adjust up or down for your own size and yarn weights.
