The directions are given for S, M, or L. These socks use a brioche/tuck type stitch, which causes the fit to be very loose. I knit mine 4 stitches less than my usual sock stitch count, so they fit tighter.

These socks are knit from the toe up using 2 colors. It is best to use high contrast colors (I took a photo with my phone of the 2 colors and then turned it to grayscale. If the 2 showed light and dark, the colors should work. If they are too close to looking the same, they may not work well together.)

The heel is a short-row heel with directions for a shadow-wrap heel, but you can use whatever heel fits you best.

The pattern is an easy 2-stitch, 4-row repeat using a “knit one below” stitch.
