Description: Raise your hand if you have a pretty 100g skein of variegated sock yarn in your stash. OK everyone, put your hands down! The pattern for this set was designed to use one of those pretty skeins, plus about 25g of a contrast color (which you probably also have in your stash). To make the Earwarmer, you double up on your yarn, and knit using two strands of your pretty fingering yarn held together on Size 6 needles. The Earwarmer is super stretchy, so one size fits most. The gloves are knit with a single strand on Size 1 needles, and there are two sizes to fit teens through adults. Both accessories use an easy spiral rib stitch pattern - you only work with one color at a time, yet it looks much more complex!

Sizing:

• Earwarmer: Approximately 5 inches wide. One stretchy circumference fits most teens and adults
• Gloves Ladies Small/Medium: Hand circ at knuckles: 6.75” - 7.25”. Wrist circ: 5.5” - 6.5”
• Gloves Ladies Large: Hand circ at knuckles: 7.5” - 8.5”. Wrist circ: 6” - 8”

Fingering Yarn Requirements for the Set:
Main Color: Approximately 385 to 410 yards (85 to 90g)
Contrast Color: Approximately 100 to 105 yards (22 to 23g)

Gauge:
Earwarmer: 20 sts = 4” in Stockinette Stitch with two strands held together using US Size 6 needles
Gloves: 32 sts = 4” in Stockinette Stitch using US Size 1 needles

Needles:
Earwarmer: US Size 6, or as needed for gauge, in your circular method of choice
Gloves: US Size 1, or as needed for gauge, in your circular
