This chunky checkered cowl has eyelets hidden in every other square giving the overall pattern a polka dot appearance.

The cowl is knit in the round on circular needles to eliminate seaming in the final step. The cowl is also reversible for a slightly different look.

About half a skein (220 yards) of Chunky Solids by Bernat Yarns in the shade Aran was used to make this cowl but you can substitute any chunky or bulky weight yarn you wish.
