This pattern is available for free.

Inspired by the Japanese Knot style, this checkered bag sits comfortably on your arm or shoulder.

The ‘knot’ gives added security by acting as a closure.

Worked in rows with no shaping makes this project suitable for a beginner who is looking for a challenge with colorwork. Equally, this is an interesting project for an experienced crocheter.

The two panels of the bag mirror each other.

As well as the written pattern I have included a chart.

This project is perfect for using up your yarn stash!
