The Checkered and Gingham Plaid Pumpkin pattern is a set of free crochet patterns on my blog!

My free Checkered Crochet Pumpkin pattern now comes in 3 sizes (small, medium, and large), and I’ve added a brand-new 3-color Gingham version too. They’re worked in bulky yarn with the linked double crochet stitch, so they come together quickly, and they look so sweet grouped on a mantel or Thanksgiving table.

This pumpkin works up quickly in bulky yarn from the bottom-up in the round without seams.

This fun and easy pattern features the Linked Double Crochet Stitch which grows quickly without gaps between stitches - no stuffing showing through on this one!

A patchwork spiral makes for a fun pattern without joining each round.

You won’t have a ton of ends to weave in, either! I drop and pick up yarn, crocheting over the non-working color throughout.

Checked Small: 5” tall x 6” wide before stuffing
Gingham Small: 5” tall x 5” wide before stuffing
Medium: 7” tall x 9” wide before stuffing
Large: 10” tall x 12” wide before stuffing
