This handsome checkerboard stitch looks good on the whole family. I love this twist on a basket weave. It is still so classic. The fabulous featured hat was done in my Yarnitoli signature Dirty Martini colorway. Sizes included: infant, child, teen, adult, adult large. The gauge for this hat is 6 stitches per inch.

• Size US5 16-inch circular needles

• Size US6 DPN’s
• Darning needle
