Slipped stitch ribbing gives your ankles and feet a cozy hug. The color patterning is done with slipped stitches, too, so you never have to carry more than one yarn at a time.

The basic pattern is written with a grafted (wedge) toe. Alternate instructions are given for a rounded toe that does not require grafting.

Finished Measurements
Top circumference: 9 inches un-stretched
Ankle circumference: 8-9 inches stretched
Length from top of cuff to bottom of heel 11 inches

These take about 100 grams of the main color and 30 grams each of two contrast colors.

The socks in the second photo were worked with a shorter leg, and only used 50 grams of the main color, but fit somewhat loosely around the ankle.
