Pattern description from Son of Stitch ‘n Bitch: “This snuggly pullover was inspired by my brother’s favorite sweater. Done up in taxi-cab yellow, in gorgeous merino wool from a small producer in upstate New York, this sweater is simple to knit and has a subtle overall checkered pattern that’s incredibly versatile: He can throw on a leather biker jacket and hit the road, pair it with pinstripe pants for a hip night out at the pool hall, or wear it with jeans for a hike in the woods. Or, if made in a smoother yarn and a more neutral shade such as khaki or gray,it can even look quite businesslike. (Just be sure to keep the color light, or you won’t be able to see the fun stitching.) However he wears it, this one’s guaranteed to keep him warm and comfy all day long.”
