The first pattern in the new Summer Fruits range, this pair of cherries with colourful leaves makes a delightful kids room decoration (or a cheery desk companion!)
The pattern guides you through knitting and sewing up with clear, easy-to-follow instructions and plenty of photos to help you along the way. Knitted flat on straight knitting needles, there is no knitting in the round needed to make these cherries.

Cheeky Cherries measures 36cm/14 inches tall when knitted up

You Will Need:
Chunky yarn in red and greens (I used 1 ball of Stylecraft Special Chunky in Matador & small amounts of Aspen & Storm Blue for leaves. Stalk was knitted from one third of a ball of Hayfield Bonus Chunky in Lemongrass)
A pair of long 4mm straight knitting needles
Darning needle
Toy stuffing
Small amount of black and white Dk yarn for sewing the facial features
Spare double pointed knitting needle for holding stitches
